Ardee Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd is an engineering company with a strong design and project team. It has an in-house Research and Development Centre at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The R&D team is engaged in development of new technologies and processes in the field of mineral beneficiation, alternative energy systems, micro-processor-based control technologies, sensor development and prototype building. The company has also undertaken joint R&D Projects with Tata Steel Ltd, GHCL Ltd, CMPDIL (a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd.), CSIR-CIMFR, Digwadih and many other independent projects.

Ardee are distributors for many Multinational Companies with a product range which includes pneumatic valves, cylinders, vacuum systems, connectors, piping, fittings, filters, lubricators and regulators, grippers, clamps, pet bottle making and filling solutions, etc.

Ardee manufactures in-house radiometric measurement systems such as dual gamma on-line coal ash analysers, slurry density gauges, off-line table top ash analysers, Personnel Radiation Dose Monitor, area radiation monitors and special purpose radiometric systems. The company has a sales team spread across the country to market, service and support its products.

Ardee has successfully erected and commissioned four Dry Beneficiation Plants for coal and lignite. Using our RAMDARS technology, we designed, supplied, erected, installed and commissioned a Lignite Dry Beneficiation Plant, for the removal of pyrites for GHCL Bhavnagar and Coal Dry Beneficiation Plant situated at Talcher. Both plants have been transferred to GHCL and Utkal Energy Resources Ltd. respectively.

The company's current operating projects are ArdeeSort Dual Energy X-Ray Transmission Technology (DE-XRT) based 2.0 MTPA capacity Lignite Dry Beneficiation Plant in Gujarat for GMDC Ltd., a Gujarat State Public Sector Enterprise and a 1.5 MTPA capacity Coking Coal Deshaling plant for Madhuban Washery, BCCL, Coal India Ltd.

Next phase is to put up ArdeeSort technology in areas where the major coal producers – Coal India and Singareni Collieries, are having problems in terms of maintaining quality and preventing grade slippage. Many private captive coal producers are also having issues relating to quality and payment of high premia for low quality coal.  They stand to save money by deshaling coal at mine pitheads itself and ensuring that only good quality coal reaches their plants.
